John Wurzel & Co. PTY. LTD. is a privately owned, Australian company, founded by Mr. John Wurzel, He is a trained beauty therapist, electrologist and red vein therapist. He holds a Diploma Of Marketing, with an avid interest in cosmetic chemistry, makeup and formulations. He travels overseas regularly to keep up with latest trends in all aspects of his business.
The company was originally established in 1979 as a supply company to beauty therapists. Since its humble beginnings, John Wurzel & Co Pty Ltd. has expanded and steady growth and several acquisitions including Scalpers Hairdressing Suppliers have made the company into what it is today.
In 1992 John Wurzel & Co Pty Ltd. acquired Scalpers Hairdressing Supplies which diversified the company into also carrying hairdressing supplies and now have an inventory of over 26,000 stock items. The company is involved in import, manufacturing, and national distribution.

 John Wurzel & Co Pty Ltd. supplies beauty therapists, beauticians, nail technicians, make-up artists, hairdressers, pharmacists, beauty/hairdressing/make-up/nail schools as well as their students. We also receive professional referrals from doctors, dermatologists, paramedical therapists and the performing arts (theatre, opera, stage, film etc) for make-up requierments.

The NORTH ROAD showroom is set up as a Cash & Carry, supermarket-style layout for easy visual presentation and all items are coded and price marked for shopper convenience. It encompasses an area of 7,500 square feet where nationally recognized liquid product brands are displayed for hairdressing, beauty, nails makeup and pharmacy.
